📋 Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Office Reader ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Office Reader is a mobile application that provides:

• Document viewing (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EPUB, TXT, and more)
• PDF tools (merge, split, convert)
• Document scanning with camera
• Google Drive integration for cloud file access
• Text file editing and creation

Account is optional: All core features listed above are available without creating an account. Account registration (Sign Up / Login) is entirely optional and only required for optional social features such as profile, leaderboard, and stats sync across devices.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App to process or distribute illegal content
• Be responsible for the security of your device and files

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, icons, and features, is the intellectual property of TechLead. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of your documents and files. The App processes files locally on your device and does not claim any rights to your content. We do not access, store, or transmit your documents to any server.

6. Google Drive Integration

When using Google Drive features:

• You authorize the App to access your Google Drive files through Google's official API
• Your Google account credentials are managed by Google, not by us
• You can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings or the App's Settings screen

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• All file formats will render perfectly
• Data will not be lost due to device issues

We recommend maintaining backups of important documents.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechLead shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, file corruption, or device issues.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
